MS Together

Non-profit Organizations

Providing services for support and advice to people affected by MS, with a focus on those living with MS aged 18-35

About us

MS is a lifelong condition that affects your brain and spinal cord. More than 130,000 people in the UK have MS and an additional 100+ people are diagnosed each week. MS is most commonly diagnosed in people in their 20s and 30s and it's the most common central nervous system condition that affects young adults. The whole purpose of MS Together is to provide a safe and friendly environment where younger people living with MS can meet, share their stories and support one another throughout their MS journeys.   Since our beginnings in 2019, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our organisation upon: support, inclusivity, empowerment, and progress. Visit our website mstogether.org to find out more about our vision, mission and values.

📣📣 Don’t forget to join us for our Travel and MS webinar next week! For the first part of the webinar, we’ll be joined by Paul White - CEO at Hidden Disabilities Sunflower 💜 who will talk to us about travel and MS and how the sunflower lanyard can help. Paul was part of the original team that founded the Sunflower back in 2016 and is passionate about raising awareness of the Sunflower on a global level. “I have a genuine desire to ensure that the wearers of the Sunflower receive the patience, care and understanding they may need throughout their day, by whoever they meet, wherever they may travel.” The second part of the webinar we’ll be joined by Ms Together community members Jasmine and Emily, who are both avid travellers. They’ll be sharing their top tips on travelling with MS. We’ll also be sharing lots of useful resources to help make travelling with MS that bit easier ✈️🧳🚏🏝️🏕️🚂⛴️🏔️ https://lnkd.in/efgxqQgB #MS #MultipleSclerosis #MSLife #LifeWithMS #MSAwareness #MSSupport #MSCommunity
