🚀 CMS x Mulberry UTC: Creating Pathways into Film & TV for the Next Generation We are thrilled to share an exciting update on our partnership with the Creative Media Skills Institute (CMS), which is helping to inspire and empower the next generation of filmmakers! 🎬 In February, we kicked off this collaboration, which is central to our mission of providing students with practical, industry-standard training in film and television. Through this partnership, Mulberry UTC students are gaining invaluable hands-on experience and mentorship from industry professionals at CMS, setting them up with the skills they need to thrive in the creative industries. Recently, CMS delivered a practical cinematography workshop at Mulberry UTC, where tutor and cinematographer Jackie Teboul led a session on the impact of lighting on storytelling. Students learned how light placement and contrast can shape the mood and composition of a scene. 💡 This is just one example of how our collaboration with CMS is creating direct pathways from Sixth Form into the creative industries. We are also proud to announce that CMS has welcomed its first Mulberry UTC student onto one of their programs this year! 🌍✨ Exciting Opportunity for Our Students! ✨🌍 Some of our students recently had the incredible chance to participate in a 2-week work experience and cultural immersion trip to France! This unique experience allowed them to broaden their horizons, develop independence, and gain real-world skills while working in a new cultural and professional environment. Students worked in care homes, pharmacies and media production. Our Media students even created a promotional video for The Laboratoire! They were also able to do some sightseeing, visit some museums, and participate in some workshops.
