This week at Mundipharma we have been celebrating International Week of Happiness at Work. Did you know that we typically spend between 70,000 to 90,000 hours working in our lifetime? Feeling happy at work and in your role is important to mental health, productivity and can impact the rest of your daily life. We place great importance on ensuring our colleagues are happy to come to work each day and this week we’ve looked at the many ways in which we can do that. From sharing tools and techniques linked to happiness, to holding sessions to discuss what makes us at happy at work, we’ve had a great week of activities together. #HappinessAtWorkWeek #UnitedforPatients 

🥇MundiMoves: stepping up for wellness🚴🚶. From walking and cycling to gardening, our Mundipharma colleagues have spent the last few weeks tracking their activities and collecting steps through a dedicated app, reaching a target of 11,300,000 steps in this time.   MundiMoves not only encouraged people to stay active, but it also fostered a spirit of community and teamwork across the globe.   Thank you to everyone who participated and help make MundiMoves a success! Did you know that Mundipharma offers colleagues the opportunity to participate in volunteering days? As part of our Be the Difference Corporate Social Responsibility programme, each employee has two days provided annually which can be used for volunteering activities. Almost 300 days have been taken across the company in total since launch and we are proud to have such caring colleagues working across the globe. Colleagues and teams have participated in a wide range of activities from gardening 🌿 and packing food bags 📦 to washing air ambulance vehicles 🚑 and running half-marathons 🏃.   “I’m humbled by the remarkable efforts, spirit and attitude of our colleagues who’ve taken time to support their local communities and give back,” commented Marc Princen, CEO. #MundipharmaPeople #UnitedforPatients

Sarah Bayliss has joined Mundipharma as Vice President, Quality and we are delighted to have her on board. Sarah comes to us with a wealth of experience in the field and has enjoyed a range of experiences where she has been able to grow and expand her knowledge, focusing on specialties including compliance, logistics and distribution, warehousing and quality management processes. It was a pleasure to support Magpas Air Ambulance with a volunteering session recently, thank you for all that you do to bring lifesaving care to patients in life-threatening emergencies in the East of England. He brings more than 20 years of experience of country, regional and global roles covering Market Access, Sales & Marketing, Product Management and General Management. Welcome to Flavio Santoro! Flavio joined Mundipharma as General Manager, Brazil with more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. We are proud to celebrate Pride at Mundipharma throughout June as part of our commitment to creating a workplace where we can all belong, be ourselves and thrive.
