🙋♂️ PocDoc Partners with Healthy Living Partnership and Community Pharmacy Essex (Essex LPC) PocDoc is thrilled to announce the partnership with Healthy Living Partnership, in conjunction with Community Pharmacy Essex (LPC) to deliver essential cardiovascular health checks in community pharmacies across Essex. As we continue our Know Your Levels series, it is important to explore how you can take charge of your own health and reduce your risk of high cholesterol. 👉 Many cases of high cholesterol could have been prevented through lifestyle and dietary modifications. These changes include: 🟣 Increasing your physical activity, with the NHS recommending at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity 2 or more days a week. 🟣 Eating a balanced diet low in saturated fats and high in unsaturated fats and whole grains 🟣 No smoking and limiting your alcohol intake can also help to lower your LDL “bad” cholesterol levels, reducing your risk of a heart attack or stroke. 🩺 In addition to these tips, monitoring your cholesterol levels is a great way to ensure that you levels are within the recommended range.
