Today, our own Chris Rimell and James Dyer joined industry leaders at the Local Council Roads Innovation Group (LCRIG)/Transport Technology Forum event: “EV Charging: Developing Guidance & Showcasing Best Practice”. ⚡🚗 This event, designed for local authorities, is a fantastic opportunity to share expertise, showcase real-world EV infrastructure solutions, and learn from expert-led discussions. With years of industry experience, Chris and James highlighted key strategies for: ✅ Addressing local EV charging needs ✅ Enhancing accessibility and efficiency ✅ Integrating infrastructure with sustainability goals As part of the conversation, NAL EV solutions took centre stage, including our: 🔹 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: a universal system that uses a standard NAL retention socket and interchangeable surface-mounted adapter plates, optimising level 1 dispenser installation and cabling efficiency 🔹 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐄𝐕 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: A universal chamber system designed to accept all types of level 1-2 dispenser units, whilst improving the installation and simplifying the cabling process 🔹 𝐗-𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬: High strength, maintenance-free impact bollards made from a unique polymer, making them highly resistant yet flexible and able to rebound to full strength following multiple impacts 🔹 𝐄𝐕 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: The tried and tested re-usable foundation for all street furniture, the NAL retention socket is the most reliable and easy-to-use system for all EV signage and related non-illuminated assets The transition to a sustainable, accessible EV future starts with smart, efficient, and adaptable solutions – and that’s exactly what we’re delivering. Great discussions, great insights, and a step closer to accelerating EV adoption.
