Do the proposed planning reforms impact your garden room business 🤔 Yesterday lunch-time our new Deputy PM and MoHoLoCoGo chief Angela Rayner MP made a statement to the House of Commons introducing a new consultation on national planning policy. The proposed changes set out the first major steps in the Government's plan to build the homes this country needs, this is the focus of the reforms and quite right so. But do these proposed reforms have any impact on us in the garden room industry? Well not majorly, the biggest impact could be the increase in householder planning application fees. We will do another post on this soon, but in summary, the current fee for householder applications is £258, it is proposed to increase this to £528 😮 Stay tuned to find out why this happening, and what you can do about it..
