🌻 Our Grimsby Garden Centre allotment group have created a beautiful raised bed of perennials at our Harrison House site — home to Navigo's adult acute services. With the help of service users and staff members from the lodges, the group planned the planting, considering the height and spread of each plant as it matures. The team plans to sow seeds in early spring to fill in any gaps and create some ground coverage to keep the weeds at bay. Did you know Grimsby Garden Centre is owned by Navigo? We take all of the garden centre’s profits and invest them back into local mental health services and the development of the garden centre. The garden centre has also provided over 80 skills, training and employment opportunities for people with mental health problems in North East Lincolnshire. #SocialEnterprise #MentalHealth #HorticulturalTherapy #MindfulGardening #Grimsby #GreatGrimsby

💉 By getting the flu vaccine, our staff are protecting service users, colleagues and friends and family members, as well as themselves. Influenza can cause a spectrum of mild to severe illness, even among people who were previously fit and well. It is an unpredictable, highly transmissible infection and getting the vaccination provides the best protection. ▶️ Are you a Navigo employee? Congratulations to the winners of the Projects of the Year at last week's Annual General Meeting! 💡 Our voting membership selected My Menopause Matters and the low stimulus therapy room as the projects to be awarded £10,000 grants from our official charity, the Gardiner Hill Foundation! My Menopause Matters will create a menopause support group, run by volunteer networkers, that can be accessed by service users and staff. 🧡 The creation of a low stimulus environment will enable Navigo to enhance access for neurodiverse individuals in North East Lincolnshire. ♾️ Thank you to all those who took the time to put forward a project proposal! Keep an eye out for our next POTY, which will open for nominations in the next few months!
