This morning’s panel was particularly interesting with a lot of exciting concepts shared with a view to the future for Defence in the UK. Ian Wilcock Dstl spoke about C5ISR and the importance of collaboration, urgency and integration. Followed by Dr Chris Moore-Bick, who outlined the potential for Quantum Computing in Defence and the different perspectives. Dr Natasha Fox & Geoff Howes detailed the MOD’s Innovation Engine and spoke about a need for cultural change in Defence as well as the “valley of death” into fielded military capability.
