🌳Yay! We've retained our Green Level accreditation with Investors in the Environment (iiE) 🌳 Following our recent annual audit by Investors in the Environment (iiE), we're thrilled to share that we were awarded Green Level again with a score of 72%. A particular report highlight was the reduction of our grid-level energy use by 61%, due to the installation of solar panels across our Trust buildings in 2023. It's so great to be recognised for all our hard work and green ambitions - not only across our conservation and biodiversity projects - but for our increasing sustainability across our offices, buildings, staff transport and other Trust activity. It's #WorldMentalHealthDay today and here at Nene Park Trust we're supporting the National Literacy Trust's #Take10ToRead campaign, which promotes the wellbeing benefits of reading. Just 10 minutes a day of reading can help you relax, boost your mood and escape elsewhere. Whether it's a book, a magazine, a blog post or a recipe, reading something that interests you can transport you away from day-to-day life. This image shows Nene Park Trust staff at our annual staff conference yesterday held at Wicksteed Park . We spent the day comparing and contrasting the visitor experience there with ours here at Nene Park - and also managed to take some time to get our favourite books out! Spending a whole day together yesterday away from our day-to-day jobs was very much beneficial to our mental health both as individuals and as a fabulous staff team - so lots to reflect on and be grateful for today. #NeneParkTrust #NenePark #AnnualStaffConference
