🎉Netomnia secures additional £25m 🎉 We're delighted to announce that we've raised £25 million from the National Wealth Fund. The investment bolsters a £75 million debt commitment made in March 2023 – before the recent transformation of UKIB into the NWF – bringing the total NWF backing to £100 million. MDU's are being left behind. When it comes to full-fibre network deployment, logistical challenges are causing nightmares for residents that simply want: • A better broadband service • More choice of internet service providers Building and maintaining relationships with social housing associations is simply crucial to unlock full-fibre for rented accommodation. We need to access the right people in order to progress national build and bring UK residents into the future of broadband. But more often than not, finding the appropriate person to liaise with causes severe delays in our MDU deployment. This presents an excellent opportunity for a regulatory body to create a database of contacts for those that work in social housing associations and are the primary contact for wayleave agreements. This can help: 🏢 Bust the barriers that come with accessing multi-dwelling units 🎯 Alternative networks to open the dialogue with the correct contacts ✅ Provide residents with the choice they desperately crave in a world that is relying on digital connectivity. Prioritising the residents and tenants is an absolute must. They are the reason we are building our full-fibre network; to unleash human potential, regardless of living situation, lifestyle or location.
