I recently attended Network X in Paris, a global meeting point for professionals in the telecommunications sector, where I had the opportunity to delve into the future of connectivity and the evolving landscape of the industry. The event offered a variety of networking and educational opportunities, facilitating knowledge sharing and providing deep insights into the technical advancements and strategic developments shaping the future of telecom. With sessions covering Next-Gen PON upgrade strategies to enhance bandwidth and meet the growing demands for high-speed internet, to the role of AI-driven networking in creating smarter, more proactive systems that optimize network performance, the event was full of exciting perspectives. A highlight from both the Fibre and the Headliners Stage was the focus on Mergers and Acquisitions, which emphasized the industry-wide strategic shifts and showcased how companies are innovating to stay competitive and drive impactful change. Attending Network X 2024 was a valuable experience that highlighted the importance of staying connected with those driving the ICT industry forward.
