It's been a great start to 2025 for our team 👏

2005 proved to be an excellent year for Newland Homes as it was that January that our Land Director Andrew Billings BSc (Hons) MRICS joined us! Over Andrew's 20 years here, he's been the driving force in hand-picking the locations of our developments. Across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Bristol, Somerset, Devon, Wiltshire and beyond, Andrew can spot a perfect location and start the ball rolling to bring our purchasers their dream homes. Congratulations Andrew!

Our latest showhome is now open at Kempster's Reach, Worton, Wiltshire! A home isn't complete until it's hosted its first party so we were delighted to invite some of our professional friends to join us to and take a tour. Today we're celebrating the iconic Bev and Jayne! Bev and Jayne boast an enviable 20 year friendship formed when they both started at Newland Homes in January 2005. They're both still superstar Sales Consultants - and our purchasers rave about the help and advice they receive from both. Not many friendships last 20 years, let alone work ones. We were delighted to recently welcome an outing from Yate's Green Community Travel to Great Oaks, Engine Common and have a chat with them over a cuppa during a special tour of our showhome. Green Community Travel is such a vital service for the local community, and we're very pleased to be able to support them.

This week we were pleased to talk to the community at Northway Tewkesbury about our plans for https://lnkd.in/e3Rygc6z. Proposals include up to 500 homes, community buildings, new open spaces and mobility hub. Our vision for the site has sustainability at the very heart, with homes being Zero Carbon, with biodiversity and sustainable drainage all key commitments. Consultation is so important to us and it was good to hear concerns, ideas and thoughts of people who attended, all of which will be considered. We are looking forward to continuing discussions with residents, Parish Councils and stakeholders over the next few months as plans evolve. We’re proud to have won a West of England’s Bee Bold Award to celebrate action by local businesses to encourage #bees and #pollinators. This is for all our efforts at Newland Homes Great Oaks in Engine Common, where we've been busy encouraging #biodiversity with planting, house-holder allotments, open space, plus creating zero carbon homes. The #beeboldawards are all part of a wider strategy to make the region the Pollinator Capital of the UK and tackle the climate and ecological crisis together.  Thanks to West of England Combined Authority and Redcatch Community Garden for hosting at such an appropriate backdrop for the awards.
