2024 was an incredible year for Newland Syndicate and its portfolio companies, and we want to take a moment to reflect on the impact we've had so far. Guided by our strict criteria and the opportunity set we see in EMEA Food & Ag, we completed 3 investments in Foreverland Food, Metha AI and another soon to be announced. Our portfolio companies continued to deliver beyond expectation. Highlights include Extracellular getting into its stride and tripling revenues, Messium proving its tech and having 100+ farmers sign up for paid pilots, Cala opening three highly profitable sites, among others. Our syndicate has grown to ca.80 members, a 100% year-on-year increase. Recent additions include members working at BP Lightsource, Google AI, Casillo, Kencko, CEPCO and others. Throughout the year we were fortunate to work with Isabel, Felipe and Tom, who joined us in the first half of the year and have since gone to pursue work with Amazon, McKinsey and Smart Society Ventures. Tracy, Marae and Tom have joined in the fall and are already deeply involved in Newland activities. We are looking forward to building in 2025 and beyond.
