📆 🌊 On March 17th and 18th, the 6th Conference of Italian Marine Geologists took place in Rome, organized by the Società Geologica Italiana, of which we, at Nextgeo, are honored supporters and partners! Supporting these initiatives is crucial for staying up to date with industry developments and exploring innovative topics and approaches! 🌊 🌎 💼 The conference, titled "Marine Geology in Italy", featured our professor and geologist Giovanni de Alteriis, who presented the paper "The opportunity of deep-sea geophysical exploration offered by ROV-surveys. Some examples from Tyrrhenian and Eastern Mediterranean", created in collaboration with our colleagues from the Geodata Department at NextGeo. A special thanks to them for their valuable contribution to such a significant conference! ✨ On the second day, the floor was then handed over to our Project Manager, Silvio de' Septis, who skillfully introduced and represented us!

🗓🌊This year, we are proud to keep on supporting the East of England Marine Science & Technology Sector Council by sponsoring and speaking at their 2025 event titled "Harnessing Power Offshore – Leading the Way in Marine Science for Energy". 💡Throughout the day, industry professionals and supply chain members from across the energy sector will discuss new technologies and innovations in alternative energy. ✨Representing NextGeo at the event will be our Geologist Cristina Barbalucca, who will speak in the Session Two: Survey and Engineering.

🎓Here at NextGeo we are always ready to back and encourage careers focused education initiatives. Even better when these are associated with renewables and the energy transition.   🌊With this in mind, we stood alongside Equinor in their initiative to support the sixth-form students of the University Technical College Norfolk (UTCN) to develop their ambitious project: designing an artificial reef to enhance biodiversity around the Sheringham Shoal and Dudgeon offshore wind farms.   Our UKCS General Manager Darren Robertson was part of the judging panel and had the opportunity to speak with the students. 👩🎓Many thanks to Sophie Skipp of Equinor for organising this and for involving NextGeo in such a commendable initiative. We’re ready for the next move.

During the event, our CFO addressed crucial topics shaping the future of the offshore maritime industry, and he also highlighted the key strategic priorities of Next Geosolutions, outlining the areas where the company is actively focusing its efforts, including: 🔹 Innovation and emerging technologies, with a strong emphasis on R&D activities 🔹 Strategic collaborations between businesses, startups, and institutions 🔹 Investments and development models aimed at enhancing the competitiveness into the Blue Economy

Today, the Board of Directors of Next Geosolutions approved the draft Financial Statement and the Consolidated Financial Statement as of 31 December 2024, highlighting the following results: 🔹 Value of production: € 203.3 million | +36.8% vs 2023 🔹 EBIT: € 47.9 million | +35.5% vs 2023 🔹 Net Profit: € 43.1 million | +47.8% vs 2023 🎙️ Our Chairman, ATTILIO IEVOLI commented on the achievements reached: "The Group’s growth and value creation journey has reached significant milestones, made even more meaningful as they were achieved alongside the listing process a demanding phase that required dedication and strong commitment from everyone involved.
