Candidates deserve to know why they didn’t make the cut. Generic rejection lines like "someone was better suited" do more harm than good. Honest feedback is a two-way street! Next time you pass on a candidate, don’t just send a generic line—give them something to work with. They’ll remember, and your company’s reputation will thank you.

"We were impressed by her professionalism and drive from both interviews, particularly the examples she shared about problem-solving and wearing many hats within a small team - she obviously takes a lot of initiative. We felt that her case study presentation was very well polished - clearly structured with a logical process. She presented herself very confidently, we got the impression she would be good with clients and a self-assured voice in the team. However, we would have liked to see her exploring the human angles of her case study with a bit more depth. We would have also liked to see her push a bit further and deeper in her thinking about culture.
