🌟 Friday Round-Up from #TeamNICVA 🌟 It's been another packed week for us, still riding high after the inspiring energy of our #FutureThinking Summit on Tuesday! We were overwhelmed by the turnout and buzzing atmosphere, and we can’t thank our members, funding partners, and amazing volunteers enough. From our members collaborating with Susan J Glass on all our innovative ideas, to the catering provided by Loaf Catering and Cafes and our W5 Belfast venue, the event was a true collaboration of our membership community. ➡️ On Wednesday, along with the All Party Group for the Voluntary and Community Sector Chair Diane Forsythe and Vice Chair Sian Mulholland MLA, we hosted a meeting with sector representatives and Department of Justice NI Minister Naomi Long. It was good to hear the Minister outline her departments ongoing support for the sector and her commitment to working in partnership. ➡️ We were honoured to attend our member, Cancer Lifeline’s 25th-anniversary celebrations at their beautiful North Belfast premises on Wednesday. It was incredibly moving to hear the story of how the organisation began and the impact it has had on countless lives. For more on Cancer Lifeline’s incredible journey and the day’s celebrations, visit our website: https://bit.ly/4fmO71j ➡️ Our training team kept busy this week, delivering sessions to our ILM Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management learners on Thursday. Today, Dawn joined the Saol Úr Sure Start team at Upper Springfield Development Trust LTD for their ILM Level 4 Award in Leadership presentations. Congratulations to all the participants - and thank you for the lovely flowers! 💐 ➡️ We’re still recruiting! Applications for our Director of Policy and Insight role close this Sunday, with our Digital Manager position closing on 4 November. Know someone who’d be a great fit for #TeamNICVA? Encourage them to apply - www.nicva.org/jobs ➡️ Good news! We’ve extended the Joint Forum nomination deadline this week to 14 November. This is a chance for our sector leaders to ensure their voices - and those of the communities they represent - are heard at government level. Don’t miss this opportunity 👉 https://bit.ly/3Nt08Gj Looking forward to another impactful week next week! #VoiceOfTheSector #ValueOfTheSector #NICVAtraining #DevelopingLeaders
