    Senior Programme Manager - Digital Transformation

    So it’s here… Microsoft D365 and Digital Transformation has landed at Weetabix, having gone live this morning. It marks the proudest moment of my career and I couldn’t be happier with the on time / on budget delivery accompanied by a seamless cutover execution. When you embark on this type of programme, your ears are full of the horror stories of failed ERP implementations i.e. 80% of ERP projects failing. I’m delighted to say that Weetabix got this right and we are firmly in the class leading 20%. I’ve been on several professional development courses over the years regarding ‘high performing’ teams and the Weetabix Digital Transformation team could be used as a perfect case study for what good looks like. The level of talent, commitment and ownership, combined with an open and supportive culture meant the team could achieve what many would deem unrealistic or even impossible. I don’t want to call anyone out in particular from the team as it would be unfair on the others, but it’s been the greatest pleasure to work alongside you all. Outside of the direct team, I’d like to thank Weetabix for exceptional levels of Exec and Senior Leader support to the programme, combined with incredible SME and business effort to help achieve our goals. Like all programmes, they can’t deliver in isolation and I’d like to thank Microsoft (Marie Abery and Erol Celebic) for fantastic support throughout and I’d like to commend HSO who have been a highly effective System Integrator offering not just collaboration, but true partnership across the programme. (David Pankhurst FCA / Matt Birtwistle ) Additional mentions to Nine Feet Tall (David Bickerton / Nick Paul) and Gartner (Richard Webb) who have provided class leading external assurance throughout. I’ve tried my best not to make this sound like a cringey Oscar speech (probably failed there), but at least I’ve managed to avoid any ‘journey’ clichés… Currently feeling slightly tired (!), but full of pride about what we have achieved together.
