Full house this evening for our #NLAdebate on Housing Londoners - Should we build up or out? Chaired by Jay Morton. William Poole of Howells kicked off with the case for building up, telling us “We could be unlocking thousands of homes in central locations from building higher” But Ian Mulcahey of Gensler had a strong counter, exploring the potential of building new cities for a modern population. They were joined for a lively panel discussion by Katy Warrick of Savills and Simon Pask of Drees & Sommer. A fascinating debate all round, but where do you stand, is the solution to London’s housing crisis to build up, or to build out? Tell us below 👇 #NLAdebate #Housing #London
