  • Over 50 organisations have developed a strategic plan to invest in nature at scale across Northern England. It’s an opportunity for the North to become the first nature positive regional economy. Produced by Nature North, ‘Investing in Nature for the North’ draws on pioneering nature finance projects to demonstrate what can be achieved and outlines five themes for green investable propositions. The plan, which is shaped by over 400 contributors, is being launched in Sheffield today, Tuesday 25 February. Opened by Oliver Coppard, South Yorkshire's Mayor, speakers include prominent leaders from regional and national government, environment, business and finance sectors. The strategic plan will feed into the Convention of the North being held in Preston later in the week (27-28 February). #GreenEconomy #NatureInvestment
