On November 3rd, I’ll be running the TCS New York City Marathon to support MAGIC BUS USA, a charity that is transforming the lives of nearly 400,000 children in poverty. Magic Bus helps break the cycle of poverty through education, mentorship, and life skills. Training hard since May, I’ve averaged nearly 180 miles (285 km) of running per month. I am chasing the (unrealistic) goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon with the sub-3:05 time required at my age. 😟 But this journey is about more than just running—it’s about making a real difference. Magic Bus has: - Reduced child marriage by 40% in the communities it serves 🌱 - Helped 98% of children complete their schooling, significantly boosting graduation rates 🎓 My goal is to raise $5,000 to support these life-changing programs.
