A big thank you to everyone who joined us at the West Northants Bus Stakeholder Forum yesterday at the cinch Stadium, Northampton Saints! 🙌 GO Travel Solutions is working in partnership with West Northamptonshire Council on their Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) — engaging with stakeholders and driving success through collaboration. At yesterday’s forum, we: - Explored exciting opportunities to become a Pledge Partner and support local transport improvements. - Engaged in insightful discussions about enhancing bus services and encouraging greater local bus use. - Contributed valuable ideas to shape future bus development plans. Learned about the Women’s Rugby World Cup coming to Northampton and how the community can benefit. 🏉 A massive thanks to Northampton Saints for hosting us in such a fantastic venue and to Bernie, their mascot, for adding a bit of fun to the day! 🦁 #WestNorthants #BusPartnership #BSIP #PartneringForSuccess #RugbyWorldCup ABILITY cic, CILT (UK), Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom #GaytonandTiffieldCommunityMinibus, Integrated Transport Planning, Milton Keynes City Council, Moulton College. Ethical Charter in West Northamptonshire West Northamptonshire Council are looking to co-produce an Ethical Charter in relation to international recruits. The aim of the Charter is to set out the key guiding principles for the recruitment, onboarding and ongoing support for those working in Adult Social Care via a Certificate of Sponsorship. The Local Authority will be arranging a series of working groups in the near future and would like a small number of voluntary organisations to be part of this process and to help them to co-produce the Charter. As Voluntary Impact Northamptonshire currently assists West Northamptonshire with its ASC Register, VIN will be taking part in these workshops (but does not wish to be the lone VCSE voice in this). If you currently support International Recruits, feel you have really good International Recruitment practices, or have a keen interest in this area and would like to be involved in the co-production of the Charter please contact WNCCommissioning@westnorthants.gov.uk by Friday 21st March 2025.
