A Great Morning at Notts Techfast: Exploring AI and Software Development. I attended a great Meetup yesterday – Notts Techfast ☕️ The session, "Coding 2.0: Leveraging AI from Co-Pilots to AI Software Engineers" led by Siva Kovvuru, provided fascinating insights into how AI is transforming the world of software development. Siva covered everything from AI-powered Co-Pilots and Coding Assistants to the emerging role of AI Software Engineers. It was eye-opening to see how these tools are streamlining workflows, automating repetitive tasks, and driving productivity to new heights. There were some great questions from the audience about the potential risks, the impact on junior developers, and the broader implications for the future of software engineering. 🤔 It was a fantastic opportunity to catch up with some familiar faces and meet new ones - it’s always great to engage with the vibrant tech community!
