We're celebrating the anniversary of the opening of The Book of Kells, which opened on 3rd January 2024. We recently captured some striking new images of the space. The exhibition presents an opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technology and immersive storytelling techniques, creating moments of magic, surprise, and delight. It acts as a treasure chest of Trinity College stories, bringing to life the diverse people and objects connected to the collection. In 2021 we delivered an exhibition strategy and feasibility study for Trinity College. Our research assessed the exhibition’s financial viability while generating a plethora of innovative concepts. Through detailed analysis and stakeholder engagement, we refined our ideas, leading to the creation of an immersive storytelling journey. We collaborated with industry specialists to create a meaningful cultural experience that resonates with diverse audiences. Read more about our work in-depth below. https://lnkd.in/eEuXRkjv

Earlier this month, Pinwheel LTD created the Opening Event for Edinburgh International Festival with principal partner The Macallan. We conjured up a new ritual to ignite the festival spirit in the city. We brought together an incredible creative team who epitomised the art of collaboration. We worked with world-class technicians who delivered our vision with care and skill. We offered our audiences the gentle power of intimate encounters, alongside the explosive potency of grand spectacle. It was a huge honour to be tasked with creating a fitting overture to one of the world's most significant festivals. We trust we rose to the occasion. • This week saw NOVAK director Adam Finlay speak at Newcastle University to a group of 3rd year business students, talking about the studios evolution and growth. Discussing our very early days of making visuals to accompany DJs and musicians, right up to the present day, where we are creating large scale immersive installations for internationally renowned exhibitions and visitor attractions. Many thanks to Ewan Mckenzie and his colleagues for inviting us to share our story and to all the students for enthusiastically engaging with us.
