🚐⚡UK Driving Licence Rule Changes – What’s Your Take? The UK Government has proposed major changes to driving licence rules alongside an extension of the Plug-in Van Grant (PiVG) to encourage the adoption of electric vans. If approved by Parliament, these changes would: ✅ Scrap the 5-hour training requirement for drivers of electric vans up to 4.25T ✅ Allow Category B licence holders to tow up to 3.5T, bringing the total vehicle and trailer weight up to 7T ✅ Extend the Plug-in Van Grant (PiVG) until April 2026 This could be a game-changer for logistics, fleet operators, and businesses transitioning to electric LCVs- but will they have the desired effect?
