She's back!!! Today, Sharon Varghese returned to work following maternity leave, after giving birth to her gorgeous son back in March. Returning to work after any length of time off is difficult, but despite feeling emotional this morning, Sharon looks happy enough (we hope)! It's been so lovely to have her back with the team as we've missed her lots, and it's not taken long for us to feel like she's never been away. He's a bit young to be on LinkedIn, but thanks baby Ez for letting us have your mummy back!

Where has the last month gone? Luke Jackson and Charlotte P. have now been with us for over a month and they've made a fantastic start to their Nurture journey. And it seems like they're enjoying it too! See what they have to say about their first month with us...

Today we say a big thankyou to Komal Monga whose internship with us ended yesterday. Komal has been working on various client projects during her time with us, including some Power BI development along with some exciting integration work through Power Automate. Her help with these projects has been invaluable. Thank you Komal!

Doesn't Monday come around quickly? Must be because time was flying last week - it certainly was a busy one. We were very lucky to be invited to the launch of The Black Cat Club in Leeds last Tuesday, where the team had chance to sample the fabulous food and cocktails on offer while trying to outdo each other and 'stay alive' playing darts. Lots of work has gone into making the venue a fab place to eat, drink and play and we are grateful to Abbie Skelton for the chance to be part of the new venture! Good luck Abbie. On Wednesday, Charlotte P., our Client Relationship Manager, and Clare Perry, our Business Operations Manager, attended an event to see how technology can help businesses and see what funding is available to help implement improvements. For SMEs within West Yorkshire, up to 50% funding is available (until March 2025) for digital projects subject to criteria (see photos for details). This includes implementing/upgrading CRM systems, so call us on 0113 4688277 to find out more. Clare Perry spent Thursday morning at The Business Board, an initiative run by Leeds Beckett University and facilitated by David Taylor and Olga Munroe. With fellow alumni from the Help to Grow: Management Course taking part, David facilitated an insightful discussion around Shared Value in business before moving onto acting as board members to help a fellow business owner with a business problem they were facing. On Friday, we held our quarterly meeting to discuss what we've achieved in the previous quarter and planned our priorities for the next quarter. Despite only being with us a few weeks, both Charlotte P. and Luke Jackson showed the value they have brought to Nurture CRM Solutions already and have set goals for what they want to achieve next. A big thanks to you both and of course to Melissa Latham for treating us to lunch that day. Here's to another productive week! Another new employee to welcome! Welcome to Charlotte P. who joined us yesterday as our Client Relationship Manager. "I am excited to have joined Nurture CRM and to be part of an enthusiastic, growing team, supporting the CRM implementation and development in local organisations. I have some previous experience in CRM implementation with a local manufacturing business seeing the good and the bad of this process. I have recently graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in International Business and Spanish. I have a great passion for travelling, and I am fortunate enough to have travelled around Asia, Europe and Central America before and after University, as well as living in Spain for a year. This has created a keen interest in different cultures around the world and particularly local cuisines. I also enjoy sport, playing hockey for local club and going to the gym. I am thrilled to join Nurture CRM where I have a great opportunity to further develop my skills, as well as learn new ones, and put into practice everything I have learnt. I am thankful to be part of this talented team and I am eager to work on projects that can help other businesses increase their efficiency." Welcome Charlotte!

A big welcome to the Nurture team for Luke Jackson who has joined us as a Power Platform Support & Development Technician. Luke tells us all about himself below: "Hi. My name is Luke Jackson and I am excited to be joining Nurture as a Power Platform Support & Development Technician! Following my Maths degree from Durham University, I worked as an Accounts Assistant in Manchester at Ascendis Asset Management which gave me an understanding of working in a small but developing environment. Outside of work, I am passionate about fitness, playing video games with my friends, and going to concerts and music festivals. I had a two-week internship at Nurture and I am looking forward to working there full-time as everyone in the team is polite and inspirational to work with. My passions are coding and problem solving so this is the perfect opportunity for me. I am thrilled to start to develop my skills and knowledge with regards to the Power Platform and Power Automate. I am eager to contribute my skills, while continuing to learn and grow in this new role." We're looking forward to helping you learn and grow too Luke - welcome to the team!

Doing it for the kids! On Saturday, Clare, our Business Operations Manager, walked 10 miles to raise money for Leeds Children's Charity in their first ever Great Leeds Walk, raising £300 to help children have experiences they wouldn't usually have, and to give those children some cherished memories. Clare wants to say a big thankyou to Jenny Jones and Megan Phillips for organising such a well-thought out event - from the marshalls/leaders en route to the staff checking us in and out along the way, but most importantly for the mini bus back to Lineham Farm😂. Might just have been the Otley Chevin steps that made her need that! It's still not too late to donate! If you can help Clare bump her total up, it would be very much appreciated! Donate here https://lnkd.in/geJdenxa and follow Leeds Children's Charity for details of next year's walk!

We're giving back! Clare Perry, our Business Operations Manager, is supporting Leeds Children's Charity this weekend by taking part in their Great Walk. She's already raised a whopping £280 which will pay for 1 child to spend time at LCC's Lineham Farm to create memories they may never get the chance to experience again, but would like to reach her goal of £500, which would pay for another child to have this opportunity. To all of our followers/connections, please will you donate any amount you can to allow Clare to reach her target by clicking on the link below (and feel free to share to your network)? https://lnkd.in/geJdenxa Thank you. Oh, and please pray for sunshine ☀️😎🌞
