Today is a special day for our Managing Director, Brian Warren, as he celebrates 25 years with Nviro 🎉👏 In an industry where turnover is often high, Nviro stands out as a place where people find not just a job but a place to develop and thrive. Brian is a great example of that! Starting 25 years ago, he has helped create a culture where everyone can do their best. During his time at Nviro, Brian has helped us build lasting partnerships with valued clients such as Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary, Chichester College Group, Isle of Wight Council, Portsmouth International Port, and Regent's University London. Beyond numbers, Brian has shaped our workplace by focusing on our people. Under his leadership, we became one of the first large cleaning companies to become a Real Living Wage Employer – meaning we pay RLW to 100% of our colleagues without compromise. What the Real Living Wage means to our cleaning colleagues 💛 In 2021, Nviro became the first cleaning company with over 500 cleaners to achieve the status of being a Real Living Wage Employer. This means we pay a minimum of the Real Living Wage without compromise. We believe that dignity should never be the price of profit, which is why Nviro only works with clients who share our values so that we can enable our people to earn a decent day’s pay for a day’s work. This upgrade not only reports on our organisational and operational carbon footprints to guide our ongoing reduction strategies but it also: ✅ Extends our reach further, by understanding the carbon emissions associated with our Supply Chain, enabling us to have a bigger impact on responsible business practice. ✅ In addition, we'll be completing a Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) to establish the specific impact of our service delivery, allowing us to position ourselves as the responsible choice for our clients. Eight tips to stay safe when working this winter ❄️ With the clocks going back and winter temperatures on the way, it's important for our colleagues to stay safe while working on site during these darker, colder months.
