Today, members of the North West Construction Hub team have been supporting a STAR Procurement meet-the-buyer event in Stockport. It’s been a great day so far and the team always enjoy engaging with industry peers!

What a great morning! I attended the Manchester City Council Awards for Excellence at Gorton Monastary. I’m really grateful that my colleague Wendy Heaton nominated me for the ‘Rising Star’ category, and I’m really proud to share that I was shortlisted. I also want to shout out my superb coworker Amy Ramsbottom, who was also shortlisted but couldn’t attend. Congratulations to today’s well deserved winners ! There’s so many amazing individuals that make up our local authority and it’s really important that our behind-the-scenes services get the recognition they deserve. 🐝 🐝 🐝

The NWCH team are deeply saddened that our valued framework partner, ISG, have entered into administration. We have had the privilege of working closely with ISG for many years, across multiple framework iterations. ISG consistently demonstrated a highly collaborative approach and remained a strong supporter of our frameworks, as well as the underlying NWCH ethos. We greatly valued the professionalism and dedication of the ISG team, in delivering numerous projects across a varied client base. Our thoughts are with the individuals impacted during this challenging time, and we hope that the wider construction industry will continue to offer its full support to those affected. NWCH remain fully committed to supporting our Clients who have awarded contracts to ISG or currently have live projects on-site. We are closely monitoring developments to ensure minimal disruption, exploring all available options for the continuity of projects.
