We offer a wide range of drop-in sessions, information events and social activities to help and support those in our community with a life-limiting condition, those caring for loved ones and those navigating bereavement. In addition to the organised sessions, our 'hub' - with its bright circle of windows drawing in light even on the darkest of days - is a welcoming space to visit. We are seeking volunteers to help in our 'hub' during the week - meeting and greeting people, offering a tea or coffee and lending an ear. You will carry out a variety of tasks, including routine maintenance, minor repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. 25 hours per week; Open to flexible working patterns to ensure service is maintained at all times, including out of hours on-call requirement. We are excited that the start of the New Forest Walk & Work season is nearly upon us. From April to October we work in partnership with the New Forest Walk & Work team to offer monthly walks that combine networking at some of the most beautiful walks this area has to cover followed by tea/coffee and cake at a local venue and all profits from the walk are donated to Oakhaven Hospice!
