ODInteriors successfully negotiated a challenging crane lift at the end of last year, involving four new condenser units being installed on the roof of one of their London projects. They had to navigate the crane down a small alley to then sail the units over several buildings to their destination, requiring lots of planning and forethought, as well as pedestrian management on the day. After a busy end to 2024, with many of our sites beginning to embrace reuse on a broader scale, I’d like to share a recent article I wrote on behalf of the ODGroup. sustainability team! As we move into 2025, we are eager to continue driving circular economy principles across our projects and creating even greater impact.

ODGroup and Capgemini recently came together to host a Techie Tea Party at Whitechapel Mission and what an inspiring day it was. Our volunteers were thrilled to help the mission's clients with a variety of tech-related queries, from completing online forms and updating CVs to navigating smartphones and tablets. The drop-in session was all about demystifying technology, building confidence, and overcoming challenges those that use the mission often face. As we pack up and say goodbye to 55 Old Broad Street this week, we’re reflecting on the amazing memories we’ve made over the past ten years. We’re thrilled to announce that our project at Meadows Business Park has successfully passed its BREEAM Official Assessment, achieving an ‘Excellent’ rating of 71.8%. The project involved a CAT A office space fit out alongside a full-service replacement, ensuring the space not only meets but exceeds industry standards for environmental performance. As we approach the close of another calendar year, we at ODGroup want to thank our valued clients, subcontractors, and incredible staff. This year holds special significance for us as we celebrate 20 years of ODGroup. Over the past two decades, we've grown and evolved, and this milestone is a testament to the relationships we’ve built and the shared successes we’ve achieved. 2024 has seen the business take some meaningful strides, from strengthening our ESG strategy to launching new employee benefits that reflect our commitment to people and purpose. Not to mention the completion of some amazing projects as well as exciting new project wins.   We've launched two new divisions, a new ODInteriors Major Projects team and reformed our aftercare/special projects offering to create ODWorks - both off to flying starts. Looking ahead to 2025, we have our move to a new home at 24 Chiswell Street - a chapter that we can't wait to unveil in January. Finally, a massive thank you to our exceptional team, your hard work, passion, and innovation help keep the business evolving and succeeding as we look to continue with our considered growth plans.
