Last week, thanks to our fantastic partnership with Girlguiding we hosted an inspiring roundtable discussion around women in film. Girlguiding and ODEON brought girls together with a panel of expert voices from across the film industry to discuss barriers facing women in the industry and to share inspiring stories and experiences at an exclusive roundtable event at ODEON Luxe West End. It was incredible to hear from actor and producer Hester Ruoff, ODEON's Head of Guest Marketing Charlotte Ullathorne, Sky Director of Original Film Julia Stuart, film reporters Shahed Ezaydi from Stylist and Tori Brazier. They were joined by Girlguiding advocates Robin and Millie, and the panel were hosted by BAFTA Young Presenter Precious Assah. Thank you to all involved! 💙

We’re thrilled to share the news that two of our amazing colleagues have been included in the ‘2024 Role Models for Inclusion in Hospitality, Travel, Leisure and Retail Index' produced by WiHTL & Diversity in Retail with The MBS Group Chloé Quinton-Ward, IT Project Manager, and Shakeel Ahmed, Accounts and Partnerships Executive, both active members of our UKI DE&I colleague forums, joined over 75 DE&I champions across our industry last week to celebrate their amazing achievements. We’re proud that their commitment and dedication to champion inclusion for all has been recognised externally and we thank them both so much for all the work they do to help us to drive inclusion across ODEON. Well done Chloe and Shakeel, you are superheroes!

What an incredible and star studded week we've had at ODEON Luxe Leicester Square 😍 On Monday we celebrated the life and legacy of Amy Winehouse with the World Premiere of Back To Black. To celebrate International Women’s Day at ODEON Cinemas Group, we brought together nearly 70 of our senior leaders to hear from some of our inspirational women and allies for a conversation on what ‘inspiring inclusion’ means to them.   It was fascinating to hear from Sigrid Holmberg, Rebecca Parr-Phillips, Mark Way and Zarah Doyle on the importance of creating an inclusive culture where women want to work. Lots of interesting insights were shared but one that particularly resonated with us was that women’s inclusion is not just a cause for women. Inclusion is for everyone. Similar conversations are happening in many of our teams across our business on how we can continue to build women’s inclusion.    #IWD2024 #inspireinclusion

This National Apprenticeship Week, we've been celebrating the amazing achievements of our incredible Bright Lights class of 2022/2023. Colleagues from all over the UK & Ireland came together with our alumni ambassadors to connect with each other over some bubbles, enjoy a high energy scavenger hunt and share our ideas and passions for all things apprenticeships.
