"California Dreaming...and Surviving!" Just wrapped up an incredible Incentive trip in California, exploring San Diego, Palm Springs, and Joshua Tree National Park. While I've not always been a believer in "getting old is a thing," this trip definitely tested my limits! We ticked of a few great experiences I would recommend to anyone... San Diego Zoo ✔ Splash House ✔   Joshua tree National Park ✔ One of the other many highlights I feel should get a shout out... We booked a lovely Airbnb deep in the California desert.  Returning home from dinner, we discovered the door was wide open! 😱 In a throw away comment, the name Charles Manson was mentioned and paranoia quickly took hold. The nine of us convinced each other that there were people lurking in the loft and wandering the garden just waiting to pounce. Needless to say, we decided to cut our losses and head back to Palm Springs. We ended up in a motel that was arguably just as unsafe as the murder-mystery villa we had escaped from! A quote from the uber driver (please read in an American accent) Why are you guys staying here, this is the sketchy part of town? All in all, another great experience to add to the many we had.
