The Outdoor Industries Association (OIA) CIC is a non-profit membership organisation that provides advocacy, representation, promotion, leadership and the opportunity for the outdoor recreational industries, to unite with a single common voice. It represents companies that provide products and services for the Outdoor Recreation industry, retailers that sell those products and services, NGO’s, NGBs and any other organisation that works in the Outdoor Recreation sector in the UK. Its mission is to ‘Engage, Represent and Promote the Outdoor Recreation Industries’ with a long term vision to ‘Get More People Active Outdoors’.

MOUNTAIN TRAINING ENGLAND has commissioned a “Walking with Confidence” survey on behalf of all stakeholders across the walking sector. https://lnkd.in/d7ShdFD3 The aim of the survey is to find out what new walkers want and need, from us all, in order to increase their knowledge and develop their confidence to go walking in the great outdoors. Crucially, this survey is for everyone (not just leaders), especially for those who are taking their first steps in the outdoors, or planning their own walks, for the first time.
