For International Women’s Day, we’re hearing from two of our female drivers at our Grangemouth depot! Earlier, we shared Carrie’s experience, and now we’re proud to share Claire’s story: Claire spent 25 years working at Morrisons supermarket as a checkout manager, but she felt it was time for a change: “I wanted to do something different before I got ‘too old’. I have HGV drivers in the family - my three uncles and my cousin are all HGV drivers, so it must be in the blood. I went through my training in April 2022, passed my test first time, and I’ve been driving ever since. It was the best decision I’ve ever made. I love driving, and after being inside at Morrisons for 25 years, it’s lovely working outside and seeing some of our beautiful country.” We’re so proud to have Claire as part of the Oilfast team!
