“Brands serious about the away-from-home space need to dial-up their affinity and relevance as much as their brand attraction.” That’s one of the key messages coming from the agency’s new Brands Away from Home report launched to clients last month. A summary report is now available more widely and can be requested on this link. https://lnkd.in/ePspFApT #b2bmarketing #foodservice #foodtrends #futurebrands

🌟 Yesterday we were back at Mission Kitchen for the latest McCain Foodservice GB Streets Ahead panel day powered by KERB+ and we are thrilled to share the highlights 🌟 The programme continues to support aspiring food entrepreneurs from disadvantaged backgrounds to break into the dynamic street food sector. It’s at the panel days where those with the most compelling business cases and concepts bring their unique street food ideas to life to secure investment to kickstart their businesses. This latest panel day was a vibrant showcase of culinary talent, imagination and innovation with participants being referred from charities and institutions including Only A Pavement Away, TERN - The Entrepreneurial Refugee Network and HMP Brixton. And all of the following entrepreneurs received investment: 🌟 YASEMIN’S KITCHEN – Yasemin delighted the panel with Chee Borek, deep-fried half-moon-shaped flat pies from Turkey. 🌟 OMAMA’S KITCHEN – Omama served up a Syrian feast with sahlep (a hot drink) and a flavorful chicken liver sandwich. 🌟 CORN AND CRUNCH – Atrisa & Arian brought a twist with their Iranian corn dogs (classic, ramen, and mozz versions) and fun spiral potatoes! 🌟 YARDISH – Vincent impressed with his rich and savoury Jamaican goat curry. 🌟 LEVIBES – Levi presented a Lebanese delight with lamb kafta, lahm biajine, and shish tawook. 🌟 REZVAN – Rezvan offered a taste of Iran with a hearty soup, chicken sandwich, and a unique chicken sausage & turmeric potato sandwich. 🌟 7 WONDERS OF FALAFEL – Kerin wowed with Israeli falafels accompanied by seven different delectable sauces. Here at Omne Agency, we are so proud to have worked on this project with the McCain team since its inception. From brokering the original relationship with KERB through to working with each cohort as they move through the programme. And McCain’s commitment is quite extraordinary. This is the third cohort and, to date, the business has directly invested over £200,000 into these future street food stars. An investment into the future of hospitality that fosters both entrepreneurship and culinary diversity. #b2bmarketing #b2bforgood #streetfood #streetsahead

ICYMI: Following the in-depth presentation to clients at LABS earlier in the month, the headlines from the agency's latest insight report, 'Brands Away from Home', were shared further by Michael Gividen and Anna Massey at the Arena the hospitality networking association's Summer Event. The report explains how the operator's relationship with brands is changing –and it's not a straightforward picture. Opinions are nuanced by operator channels and the categories of brands and products. But what's clear is that brands relying predominantly on consumer pull have an almost immediate relevance and affinity problem. We've all seen those types of comms in food and drink b2b forever. It's effectively, "we're massive, consumers love us, so stock us". The insight shows that brand power is certainly part of the decision – but it is a small part compared to other functional and emotional benefits. It's this that truly impacts how brands communicate those benefits through the pipeline. A review of the presentation is now available and you can catch up here https://lnkd.in/eWmpFd38 Also you can request the headline report on this link https://lnkd.in/ePspFApT #b2bmarketing #foodservice #foodtrends #futurebrands
