Sending an email so you don't have to attend yet another meeting. Not hitting “reply all” on company-wide emails. Not setting the office air conditioning so cold that even your goosebumps get goosebumps. Not booking a meeting after 3 pm on a Friday. Not asking “Can you see my screen?” in 2024. (We all should have learned by now) Very demure, very mindful.

What does an 8 hour day for a content marketer look like? 20% writing copy for landing pages and ads 20% replacing “boost,” “supercharge,” and “enhance” with human-sounding words 20% deciding between a dash, en dash, or em dash — and is there a space before and after 20% brainstorming creative ideas 20% frantically writing holiday-specific content on the same day as the holiday 20% deleting full stops at the end of bullet point lists because the style guide has changed 20% looking for a new way to describe your company in an article for the 100th time Even with all that on our plate, last week we somehow squeezed in this awesome event for content marketers, which we organized with our friends at Hostinger. It was an afternoon full of networking, swapping ideas, and realizing we're all in the same boat — just trying to make words work!

We thought this was a genius idea. Until we didn’t. Sometimes people ghost us. Why wouldn't they want to learn how to sell more? It’s crazy! Anyway, we thought it was a brilliant idea to design these amazing t-shirts and send them to those who ghosted us. But now we worry. What if people will start ghosting us because they want this cool t-shirt? Our team is panicking. Please don’t ghost us. Or we’ll have to call the actual ghostbusters.

For some, it’s rock stars or movie icons. In marketing, we have our celebrity crushes too. 🤩 And guess what? Ferdy Korpershoek just made a video about Omnisend and how to use it for your WooCommerce store: https://lnkd.in/dqcy5DnJ Our hearts are racing, our palms are sweaty, and we might even be blushing a little. Go watch the video while we try to remember how to breathe again. 💫 #ecommerce #WooCommerce #emailmarketing

We would love to share a heartbreaking story of how autocorrect can really have some messy consequences… SO every season G2 has these reports where they allocate all sorts of cool badges to companies. It all started when our marketing team was informed to prepare for receiving some summer badges… The problem was that the message instead of badges, announced that we are receiving badgeRs. Just imagine our excitement hearing about a leader badger… A top performer badger… A SUPPORT BADGER… Who wouldn't want a support badger at the office?? But as you can probably predict, we had to come back to reality and live with the truth, that we are not getting any badgers… But rather 86 badges in marketing automation, email template builder and many other. What you can take and learn from our story is: check your autocorrect and just be really cool and good to get 86 badgers. Oh sorry badges. P.S. G2 idea for next quarter’s #G2BadgeBonanza maybe?
