We are currently seeking qualified Conference Interpreters proficient in both Spanish and English, residing in Spain. Proficiency in any of the Spanish Co-official languages is desirable. Responsibilities: • Conference Interpreting   o Provide accurate and authentic interpretation services for Remote/Onsite Events. • Project Management   o Effectively utilise ONCALL’s telephony system to answer, handle, transfer, and terminate calls and deal with new enquiries.   o Perform client set-up, quotations and invoices for ad-hoc and regular clients and ensure all details are captured accordingly in ONCALL’s internal platform in line with our policy.   o Process end to end recruitment of interpreters in ONCALL’s internal platform, ensuring all data is provided in both the UK folder and the platform accurately inclusive of payment information, SBA and contract requirements.   o Act as point of contact for all assigned contract client enquiries.   o Develop and maintain excellent client relationships at all times and strive to meet all client requirements within ONCALL’s internal policies and procedures.   o Provide feedback to the Conference Interpreting Manager on client issues for internal resolution.   o Conduct regular client satisfaction surveys and actively seek feedback.   o Ensure appropriate usage of service by all clients and their internal departments.   o Identify efficiency improvements within client organisations and liaise with CI Manager in order to provide instruction/training as required.   o Recognise and escalate complaints to CI Manager where appropriate.   o Organise conferences, assign appropriate providers (interpreters, voice-over artists, technicians, etc.), deal with the logistics (accommodation, travel) in a timely manner.   o Meeting profit targets for each project.   o On-site coordination during events ensuring the successful accomplishment of the event, keeping suppliers and clients satisfied. • Recruitment   o Perform supplier set-up and amendments in ONCALL’s internal platform.   o Research through official registries for interpreters as well as take initiative in order to track the best suppliers for each event.   o Maintain and develop on-going relationships with suppliers. Requirements • Minimum bachelor degree in conference interpreting. • Fluency in both source languages and the relay languages. • Minimum three years of experience in conference interpreting. • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
