We're back working with National Highways once again! This time, National Highways are investing over £5.8 million with Anglian Water Services support, to divert existing Anglian Water Services foul & water pipelines to enable the construction of the new A47 North Tuddenham to Easton improvements. As part of this scheme, there were 10 Anglian Water Assets including 8 clean & 2 sewer pipes that needed to be diverted ready for this section of the works to begin later this year. This meant moving over 2,600 metres of sewer pipes & nearly 3,400 metres of water pipelines! Our team have been working non-stop since June 2023 to divert the pipelines safely & effectively. With currently our phase one works being completed early December 2024, with phase two due to start late 2025! #oneAlliance #NationalHighways #NorthTuddenhamtoEaston #A47

Three of our Project Management Graduates delivered their end of programme presentations to our Senior Leadership Team! Annika Mosley, Puneeth Muthuraj & Ravleen Kaur Chhabra are three great examples of our graduate intakes proving to be a real success in the @one Alliance. They each shared their personal experiences, by giving freedom to talk openly & honestly about their two year rotational period in our Senior General Manager, Michael Harrison's area! While all good things must come to an end, their journey is only just starting. Annika, Puneeth & Ravleen are now moving onto their permanent positions within the @one Alliance! Keep an eye out for when our applications for our 2025 intake come out ready for AMP8! #oneAlliance #Graduates #ConstructionJobs #GraduateJobs

We're investing over £1.8 million at our Water Recycling Centre in Dereham, Norfolk! Our new Flow to Full (FFT) scheme aims to increase the sites flow capacity by 15%, taking the sites current from 114l/s capability to 130.9l/s. This scheme includes the installation of a new side stream modular treatment system comprising Lamella Clarifiers, MBBR’s and DAF units with associated Motor Control Centre & infrastructure. As Norfolk's population is set to grow by 11% over the next two decades, we're making sure Anglian Water Services are prepared for the rise in demand through our sewer networks, by guaranteeing Dereham's WRC's ability to treat the increased flow effectively for many years to come! #oneAlliance #AnglianWater #Dereham #FlowtoFull

Our local authorities & key stakeholders event's have moved onto the Cambridgeshire & Essex region! These events allow us to properly communicate our plans for our nearly £1 billion investment into the region over the AMP8 period to local stakeholders and authorities who we'll be working closely with throughout the entire AMP! Anglian Water Services CEO, Mark Thurston was joined by leaders from across the organisation to discuss the scale of the opportunity that comes with our investment into the region. These events are a great chance to focus on the importance of maintaining the strong collaborative partnerships we share with our local planning authorities to deliver our work as effectively as possible! After ticking of Norfolk, Suffolk, Lincoln, Cambridge & Essex, our leaders will now head to Northampton, Bedfordshire & Buckinghamshire, as we work towards engaging with local planning authorities across the entirety of our region, ready for AMP8! Here are some of our event facilitators reflecting on the importance of the event. #oneAlliance #Cambridgeshire #Essex #AnglianWater #AMP8
