Introduced by the British Lymphology Society (BLS), this week is all about raising awareness and improving lives. The annual event helps more people understand lymphoedema, highlighting how it can: ✅ Affect all ages and can be hereditary. ✅ Be caused by many conditions and risk factors. ✅ Require early recognition and treatment to prevent complications like cellulitis. Together, we can reduce the prevalence, severity, and impact of lymphoedema – and improve the lives of those affected. As their chosen supplier, we provided 19 Solo Comfort Floor Beds, beautifully upholstered in Sark Taupe, to complement the home's elegant interiors. Designed to promote safety, independence, and style, the Solo Comfort features: ✔ Ultra-low floor height – reducing fall risks for vulnerable residents, including those living with dementia. ✔ Raises to nursing height – supporting carers with efficient, strain-free care. ✔ Wider 3ft 6 design – offering more space and comfort than a standard single bed. ✔ Fully upholstered frame – seamlessly blending into the home’s warm, welcoming aesthetic. ✔ Bespoke upholstery – adding a touch of luxury and personality to every bedroom. This Ardale care home redefines modern care living with its luxurious yet functional design. For this project, we supplied and installed: ✔️ Signature Low Footboard 3ft 6 Beds in a warm Walnut wood finish, chosen for their homely and stylish look that perfectly suits the beautiful interiors of the home. These beds also provide exceptional functionality, featuring an all-in-one height range—lowering for easy access and raising to reduce back strain for carers. ✔️ Serene Pressure Care Mattresses, designed to reduce the risk of pressure ulcers while ensuring enhanced comfort and support for residents. ✔️ Matching over-bed tables in Walnut wood finish, offering a practical and seamless addition to the bedrooms.
