It’s one thing to bootstrap a company. It’s another to find longevity in success. After having celebrated our 10th anniversary earlier this year, July marked Orbit’s most successful month ever with no less than 17 transactions closed by our clients with our support during that same month. This is close to $20 billion of Enterprise Value transacted with Orbit’s involvement, both in Europe, the US and APAC. We are obviously proud, but mainly very grateful for the trust that some of the very best investors out there put in our ability to help them win. We are also very thankful for all the hard work, passion and dedication our teams are investing every day to continuously make our product more impactful. Over the past 10+ years, we have remained laser-focused on our mission to help the best industry advisors partner with the best investors. We have made many radical decisions, including never giving up the exclusivity of our support to one fund only per deal, aligning our rewards with what we know will allow us to consistently offer the best service to our clients, and not getting distracted by competition but remaining fully focused on our product and the clients who value it. We have started Orbit with the hope to build a high quality, reliable and free organisation that would deliver superior value to all its stakeholders over the long run. July only reinforced these convictions and we are better armed than ever to continue delivering superior quality to both our clients and our industry advisors. You can count on us. Happy summer.

Yesterday, 5 Orbiteers participated in the 36th annual J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge in London, where they joined hundreds of companies from around the city to complete a 5k race. Powered by fitness, friendly competition, and fun, the #Orbit team challenged themselves, all while supporting Centrepoint – the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity. Orbit Partners finished 2nd in that race and ended up ranking 5th globally, with an average finish time of 25.35! Congrats to all who participated and thanks to J.P. Morgan for organising a fantastic event! #JPMCC #OrbitPartners

We are very excited to have actively supported the Mubadala Capital deal team on their investment in RelyOn Nutec, a global provider of compliance and competence services for critical industries with HQ in Denmark. As usual, we were fully exclusive to the Mubadala Capital team in this process, allowing us to deliver unique Senior Advisors fully tailored to their core diligence and value creation angles. Congrats to the Business Services group at Orbit, as well as the Mubadala Capital deal team!

We're excited to announce that Orbit Partners advised Montagu in full exclusivity on their acquisition of Johnson Matthey's Medical Device Components Business. The New York-based Orbit Partners deal team, including Annie Huycke, Nicolas Kugel, Tatiana Bell, and the industry-leading senior advisors we involved on the transaction, truly enjoyed supporting Montagu. Congratulations to all.

Over here at Orbit, we have spent a lot of time over the past 12 months researching and diligencing organisations to launch a comprehensive CSR strategy across all our offices in 2024. We are super excited to announce that we will be partnering with Impetus (impetus.org.uk) in the UK and Youth INC (youthinc-usa.org) in the US. Both organisations work exclusively with charities helping young people from historically marginalised communities to succeed in school, in work and in life. In addition to a financial contribution, we are building a structured engagement programme for our teams with charities from each of these organisations. It has been an inspiring and humbling journey so far and we look forward to building meaningful and transformative relationships with both Impetus and Youth INC as our CSR programme continues to grow!

It’s been a pleasure and privilege for members of our New York team to help serve 3,000+ families over the holiday season with the River Fund, one of New York’s largest front line poverty centers. Founded over 30 years ago by Swami Durga Das and operating out of Queens with a distribution center that provides over one million pounds of groceries and needed essentials, their mission is to feed and empower those they serve to move beyond the lines of poverty. We are excited about their new Education Center, with the focus on their current Mary C. Tiedemann Scholarship Program and many more educational initiatives. The programs they offer to their youth is all part of their ambition to help combat generational poverty from cradle to college. They believe “Education is the most powerful investment to move youth beyond the lines of poverty.” Special thanks to Swami, Karina and Fjoralba!
