🚀 Breaking New Ground in Quantum Computing! 🚀 We’ve completed the documentation of the ORCA Computing backend for NVIDIA CUDA-Q, making our PT Series fully supported in CUDA-Q. Users can now leverage CUDA-Q (Python and C++) to perform boson sampling experiments with the PT Series. Now there are two ways for users to access ORCA Computing PT-Series quantum processors, our SDK, and NVIDIA CUDA-Q, simplifying their research and implementation of new algorithms with quantum processors. We are excited to unveil our new ORCA Computing US Headquarters in Austin, Texas! 🏢    Thanks to the efforts of our COO, Michael Piraino, and supported by our CTO, Thien-An Nguyen, for securing the new location. In typical ORCA style, we hit the ground running by starting the move-in just 15 hours after securing the space. The entire team rose to the challenge set by Senior Program Manager, Tina Trimble, and North America HR Manager, Erin Askew, by preparing for the move early in May with "Packing Parties" every Thursday. This resulted in a Tetris-winning organization of moving boxes! 📦🎉    Although our new location is just a few miles from our previous industrial neighborhood, it represents a great step forward with ample space and resources to continue innovating and growing. We are happy to share an impressive academic paper: “The Travelling Salesman Problem” authored by Daniel Goldsmith , Senior Quantum Computing Technologist, and Joseph Day-Evans, Quantum Computing Technologist Digital Catapult. Their work used an ORCA Computing PT-1 quantum boson sampler and demonstrated promising results to more efficiently scale to larger networks compared to other approaches.
