Today is World Sustainability Day and Team OSKA is proud to share the progress on our recycling journey here at Head Office. Earlier this year, OSKA installed categorised waste bins in all areas to ensure we are correctly disposing of our waste, whilst encouraging the Team to proactively make more mindful consumption habits. As part of our Green Mark accreditation journey, we must track how much solid waste the office produces in percentage to what is recycled. So... here are the results! On average, 79% of our weekly waste is now recycled, and since starting our recycling journey with categorised waste bins 14 weeks ago, 81% of our total waste has been recycled. Our aim is to further reduce our wastage and increase the amount that is recycled where possible. Encouraging recycling in the workplace encourages transferable skills that everyone can act on within their everyday lives therefore, creating more sustainable habits.
