Can your geothermal project handle the heat? #Geothermal energy holds immense promise, but the true test for the sector lies in how much potential can be harnessed within operational and commercial boundaries. Drilling in high-temperature environments poses significant challenges, including costly delays and equipment damage if not properly managed. Each day of delay can add a six-figure sum to your expenses. That’s why effective mud cooling is essential for a successful geothermal project. Our mud cooling technology and consultative approach ensure your project stays on schedule, safeguards your equipment, and keeps you within budget. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/e-3ZEEdq

Last week, the North Sea Transition Authority launched a consultation on publicly naming operators that miss #decommissioning deadlines after its 2024 Decommissioning Cost and Performance update highlighted industry-wide shortfalls. One key challenge for the industry is waste stream management, where inefficiencies are driving up costs and emissions. We offer a proven decommissioning solution that reduces disposal costs, speeds up operations, lowers emissions, and recovers valuable oil. Interested? Learn more: https://lnkd.in/e7ycRUxi

"In the construction industry, water management is crucial for safeguarding our most vital resource but too often we're still falling short as an industry. It's imperative to adopt proactive and tailored approaches to protect our waterways, especially as we deliver major energy transition projects like grid rollouts, ensuring these do not offset environmental gains by harming water systems." This World Water Week our construction Business Unit Manager, Tristan Hughes, has shared his thoughts on the importance of advancing sustainable water management solutions, like our WTS20. Last week, we held our annual OSSO golf tournament with staff, customers, and partners at Peterculter Golf Club. Thanks to the team there for the fantastic hospitality at a brilliant venue! We also wanted to share a huge thanks to Angus Dundee Distillers PLC and Production Manager, Robert Nicholson, for generously donating two bottles of whisky from their Glencadam and Tomintoul distilleries, which added a touch of class to the day. We’re already looking forward to next year’s tournament!
