A few months ago I started trying out something new with my team: holding skip-level meetings with the people who report into my direct reports. Here's what I've discovered... It’s a fantastic opportunity to ask people what they need to me to know, as well as provide space for questions. In particular, I’ve been really struck by the sheer number of great ideas that I’ve heard. Our conversations have been really positive and full of enthusiasm. Most of all, it’s been great to listen to people’s experiences. I’d heartily recommend this to others. For me, it’s been a valuable way to get this perspective on our work, which can only be a good thing.

OUP completes relocation to a new office in Islamabad, Pakistan! Creating a dynamic and productive workspace, continuing the global implementation of hybrid working. In this project we merged five offices into one central location. This move provides the teams with more open space to encourage collaboration and communication in modern facilities and a flexible work environment, with a much-needed Teachers Resource Centre, training rooms and cafeteria. As one of my highlights of the opening celebrations we encouraged everyone to adopt a plant, to add a touch of greenery to their workspace! I would like to thank Muhammad Samiullah Siddiqui and Muhammad Saqib for their leadership and support, and congratulate Asif Ali, javeria jv, Lisa Mailer 马丽莎 & Muhammad Rashid from the real estate team for the delivery of yet another successful project!

Curated lexical resources, including sensitivity filters and culturally nuanced content, allow technology solutions to remain accurate, efficient, and respectful of diverse linguistic norms. The goal is to future-proof language services while maintaining high standards for quality and cultural awareness.
