As a result, more than 20m Olympic Sport page views were 12x higher week on week and accounted for more than a fifth of total Sport engagement. Last week, while the CrowdStrike bug closed Windows and US President Biden shut down his bid for re-election, the 2024 summer of sport continued to drive reader engagement across Ozone | Powering the Premium Web. ⛳️ Xander Schauffele's Open Championship win teed up 2.2x higher Golf page views. 🚴 Tadej Pogacar's historic Tour de France victory drove Cycling page views to double-digit growth. 🏏 England's second test victory against the West Indies batted Cricket to +19% growth. 🏋🏽♀️ Olympics Sport page views grew 3.2x with the Paris Games set for lift off. As with last week's growth, we're expecting reader engagement with Sport content to continue when the Paris Games begins.
