Adil noticed blood in his pee during a toilet break whilst playing Call of Duty. He then started noticing he was losing a lot of weight and sought professional help.
After several tests and scans, he was diagnosed with kidney cancer. After undergoing surgery, Adil is now cancer free!
Ahead of Urology Cancer Awareness Month, we’ve partnered with P-Wave® and are placing vital cancer awareness messaging on urinal mats in public loos, where symptoms may first be noticed.
You will find these urinal mats in public loos in pubs, restaurants, bars, work and leisure spaces across the country.
Be body aware. Contact your GP practice if you notice blood in your pee, even if it is just once. It’s probably nothing serious, but finding cancer early makes it more treatable and can save lives.
