Premier Inn Gloucester Street Dublin 🏨 Our latest completed glazing project in Dublin City Centre, after the devastation left behind from storm Katrina. 🌪 The PAC FM team completed a Curtain Wall Toggle system window installation, this consisted of two panes of toughened soundproof glass weighting a total of 574kgs. Despite numerous obstacles on the day, this was a simplistic task for the team. 💪 Thanks to Melissa Glendinning the and wider PAC FM team for managing the clients expectations and ensuring a professional and safe service was carried out. #facilitiesmanagement

🔧 Innovative Engineering in Action ✈️ At Barbour Engineering & Fabrication, we thrive on turning challenges into opportunities. Our client needed 8 new trollies to be added to their pulse line for the A220 wing production line but the budget allowed just for just one. We utilised the existing "dumb" storage trollies, consisting of a skeletal frame that were moved by operator-controlled “Master Movers.” These formed the basis of the new pulse line trollies. An A220 wing-shaped platform was constructed, this was supported by 4 castors which prevented any springing when walking across the 14m span platform. With support from our parent company, PAC Group, a few modifications were made; a vacuum, pneumatic main, 110V power supply and 8 LED lights.⚡ In the end we were able to deliver a cost-effective, resourceful solution to our client demonstrating our commitment to practical, innovative engineering. ✅

🌟 We are thrilled to share that PAC Group recently donated £200 to TinyLife Charity, Northern Ireland’s only dedicated premature baby charity! 🌟 This donation was made possible through the incredible effort of our employees who participated in an in-house quiz organised by our Accounts Assistant and Receptionist Victoria Wills. 🙌 TinyLife provides essential support services both in the Neonatal Unit and within the community, making a profound impact on the lives of premature babies and their families.
