✨Last night, the PAGB, the consumer healthcare association team were out in force to celebrate the amazing achievements of community pharmacists at the Pharmacy Business Awards. There's so much extraordinary work happening across community pharmacy to support individuals to #selfcare. We were also delighted to see some of our members being recognised with awards too, including Haleon, Teva Pharmaceuticals and Opella.🏆 It was encouraging to see Minister of State for Care, Stephen Kinnock MP recognising the contribution of pharmacists at the awards, noting that they are the 'key to unlocking the potential in our community'. Refreshing also to see a Minister to stay for the entire event! The food and entertainment were superb. A truly fabulous night! This week we welcomed Nicola Brink, CEO of the Self-Care Association of South Africa into the PAGB offices. We exchanged best practice and discussed strategies that have been successful in our respective nations. This has been a great opportunity for collaboration and we look forward to continuing to work with the Self-Care Association of South Africa!

Reminder for all members! As of yesterday PAGB moved from a compulsory food supplements review process for advertising to a voluntary advice service. Members will no longer be required to submit food supplements copy for approval. However, the advertising team will continue to provide a review service with the same level of advice and support and members will still be required to ensure their advertising follows the principles of the Food Supplements Advertising Guideline.
