Come on in, paper people ✨

About us

Come on in, paper people. Since 2015, we've created stationery that feeds curiosity and contemplation. In every piece of Papier is the promise of what's to come, the endless possibilities of a blank page. We're an emporium of eclectic designs, curated for you to make wondrously your own. Each and every one can be personalised so it means more, alive in the hands of its maker. A one-off piece of stationery that's as individual as the thoughts, feelings and dreams you'll place on the page. Alongside our in-house collections, we collaborate with bright, upcoming artists, iconic brands and exciting fashion labels. They're all fellow paper people whose varied creative talents bring a magical touch to our stationery.

On the 6th of August, our Women’s ERG, led by Zoe Thompson, organised a charity walk to support Solace Women's Aid, a charity that aids women and girls in London affected by domestic violence. Starting at our Camden office, the group walked 10km through surrounding areas, finishing with a celebration back at Maison Papier with the wider team — raising an incredible £1,137!  As Zoe beautifully put it: "The safety of women in the workplace and in society has been a key focus for the Women’s ERG this year. As part of the work we’ve been doing, we felt it was really important to support a charity dedicated to this cause and raise funds to help them continue their great work. We chose to support Solace which is an amazing charity that helps women and girls in London who have experienced domestic violence build safer and stronger lives through their services." A huge thank you to everyone who participated and supported this initiative!

Last week, we all came together for our annual Summer Party—the main event on our calendar. Inspired by Bridgerton, everyone was dressed to the nines, with bows in their hair & ready to celebrate all the hard work of the last six months 🎀 In the words of Queen Charlotte, it was “Flawless, my dear”, and we’re grateful to work alongside such an inspiring & creative team!

Thanks so much to Ali for a brilliantly inspiring and energetic afternoon!

It was a privilege to host the Young Camden Foundation Summer Party at Maison Papier for the third year running. While 1 in 4 children in Camden currently live in poverty, the work they are doing to address the needs of the sector and of the young people in the local community is as vital as ever. Thank you Daisy-Rose Srblin, Ellie Lewis & Sam Speer for organising such a wonderful event, and well done to the brilliant performers on the night! 🌟

Chief Executive Officer at Young Camden Foundation

It's official: no one does a party like Young Camden Foundation. Thank you to all our lovely members, supporters and friends, across our partnerships with the voluntary & community, Local Authority and corporate sectors, who came along and made this year's summer celebration an evening to remember! We had beautiful performances from young performers from members Steel Pan Music CIC and icandance, and welcomed Councillor Sabrina Francis and Mayor Samata Khatoon. We heard from our incoming Chair of Trustees Martin Pratt FRSA about the importance of supporting young people and the Camden sector that works with them, said thank you our outgoing former Chair Fiona Millar and Vice Chair Stephen Greene CBE, and welcomed our new Trustees Hdayet Otaky and Andre Schott. We also hosted our wonderful Young Ambassadors (including Aya Elgool), ran the most spectacular raffle ever seen (big thanks to Shaftesbury Capital PLC, The Wesley, Amazon Fresh Community team, Feldberg Capital, Papier and Kier Group for your donations) before toasting to England's win in the semi-finals (featuring the excellent Dr Sarah Hoyle) while the team explained the offside rule to me again... (Here's hoping the men's team can do as well as the women's team in 2022 ⚽) The thank you list is long, but special shout out to Claire Hunter & the team at Papier for hosting us for the third year in a row in your beautiful space - and to Ben Wright and the team at Ethical Creatives for capturing the evening so beautifully. And finally, extra special thanks to the best set of colleagues you could ask for: Ellie, Sophie, Alev, Grace, Shannon, Mohamoud & Sam. The YCF team is small but mighty - and we're excited for the rest of the year ahead ⭐

🏅 Celebrating some of our team's recent achievements! 🏅 We are incredibly proud of three of our Paps who have recently participated in some amazing sporting challenges: 🌟 Holly Mammatt | Commercial Planning Executive 🌟  Holly has been training hard to represent Team GB and achieved an impressive 8th place in her age group at the European Cross Duathlon Championships. Holly has also qualified for the World Age Group Duathlon Championships in Pontevedra in 2025! 🌟 Siân Green | Customer Service Manager 🌟  Sian's running journey began in September when she took on the challenge of running 100km in a month, raising £400 for Great Ormond Street Charity. This ignited her passion for running and helped manage anxiety, leading her to complete the Southend Half Marathon for Havens Hospice. 🌟 Sophie Woodcock | Senior FP&A Executive  🌟  Sophie conquered the world's largest recreational bike event, Vätternrundan, cycling an incredible 315km around Lake Vättern in Sweden, starting at 8pm on Friday and finishing at 7pm on Saturday!

Celebrating Pride and ensuring our Paps feel like they belong has always been incredibly important to us at Papier. Last week our second largest ERG, Papier Pride, had the pleasure of volunteering for Trans+ Solidarity Alliance, contributing to their Flowers of Solidarity Project. The paper flowers made by the team will go on to be handed out at Pride events during June and July, to raise awareness about Trans+ Solidarity Alliance's mission to advance the rights and conditions of Trans+ people in the UK - you can keep up with their work at https://lnkd.in/dKgVJebE Jude Guaitamacchi Videography: Morgane Bigault
