About us

Passfort is a Moody's Analytics company and we are on a mission to digitally transform the way compliance professionals work. We are transforming risk and compliance, creating a world where risk is understood so decisions can be made with confidence. We stop financial crime not good customers. Born in the cloud, Passfort’s SaaS solutions are designed for the digital economy. They are hardware-free, affordable, flexible to configure and easy to use, with constant feature innovation and a choice of deployment options. Our low to no-code solution thrives on complexity, such as multiple customer types, multiple product lines and multi-jurisdictions, solving challenges at scale without being costly to implement and evolve. We enable regulated financial services companies to rapidly onboard customers then manage risk and compliance standards throughout the customer lifecycle. Our integration model enables us to ingest datasets from any provider and interoperate with any system. We help you build a data ecosystem, with pre-built connectors to more than 25 data providers and growing. Passfort’s dynamic orchestration of customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Business (KYB) and anti-money laundering (AML) workflows puts the weight of compliance activity on automation and our risk engine, not your customers. We layer automation to speed up manual processes and remedial tasks that can’t be automated, bringing your compliance team in where they add most value for analysis, judgement and decision-making. Compliance efficiency and greater customer experiences. No compromise.

Thanks to Carolin Roth and CNBC for inviting me onto Street Signs this morning to talk about #ShellCompanies and Moody's Analytics’ Shell Company Indicator. As Europol has warned, 80% of criminal networks make use of legal business structures to further and conceal their activities. And while shell companies are of course not illegal, their frequent use as cover for #FinancialCrime, puts the onus on any company doing business with one to be on the look out for the seven warning signs that our recent SCI research identified. Enhanced due diligence is essential when dealing with entities that display these signs. Regulation will always tend to lag behind the criminals’ activities, and the penalties and harm that can result from a lack of due care and attention to who you’re doing business with can be extremely damaging. https://lnkd.in/gDUsUjTN

Last one, best one? I'll let those who listen decide, but the fifth and final part of the Origin Series episodes is out today 🙌 - https://lnkd.in/eV_Jrdg2 I sometimes describe working in the Moody's Analytics KYC business as being in a really big start-up with corporate infrastructure. Whilst there are lots of big things happening, a lot of customers and a lot of software solutions the actual unit itself is only 2.5 years old and encourages lot of entrepreneurial spirit. In this discussion Keith Berry talks to the origins of the unit, how he came to lead it, the "a-ha" moments and what he's personally looking forward to next. Thanks to everyone that listens to the content we've been putting out the past couple of years, the team and I look forward to creating some more in 2024 alongside our days jobs! 😀 #podcast #moodys #kyc

It's 🎧 time again! https://lnkd.in/ec9XPV2c And handily, if you work in risk and compliance, then you can justify it as professional development 😀 When we recruit guests for the Moody's Talks podcasts we look far and wide for the best available people. I think it's safe to say that Maíra Martini and Andres Knobel do not disappoint in this discussion one year on from the Court of Justice of the European Union's decision regarding access to beneficial ownership registers. This is such an important topic for not just the #kyc profession, but for society at large. In our conversation Maira, Andres and I cover: - The Why - The How - and the What Next... Let us know your thoughts in the comments or DM me privately if that's better for you. Really keen to hear everyone's take on this and how KYC professionals are managing he disruption.

Senior Manager @ Moodys (via Troi)

Our engineering teams are expanding! Working on our market leading, award winning KYC products within the Passfort team , we work on a hybrid basis from our offices in London. Our current stack is Rust, React and Python primarily , but we hire stack agnostically ( great engineering practices and standards matter more) , so as long as you have experience in one of these and are excited to learn the others , we would love to hear from you. Mihai Dinculescu and Tiberiu Simion Voicu would also love to hear from software engineers with a passion for data with experience in or willingness to learn data warehousing solutions such as Databricks, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake. Alan Sharp and his team will be focusing on building a generic integration framework to allow third parties to build on top of the Passfort platform, and one of the senior engineering vacancies will be joining them in that journey You can find the links to apply below, but if you would like more information before applying please feel free to get in touch with any questions 😀 https://lnkd.in/egVcVYHe https://lnkd.in/e7RyyPYe https://lnkd.in/eZJ4mN5c #hiring #engineering #KYC #opportunities
