Our referrals module allows clients to refer patients to different specialties with relevant information and supports incoming referrals. The functionality enables the client to customise electronic referral forms (e.g. digital photo field for Dermatology referrals) and attach documents with referrals. It is able to categorise the referrals for example, as advice only and can be configured to set decision deadlines and reminders. Clients are able to book clinics, tests and theatre slot from referrals and can identify the referral to treatment time, which is paramount when treating cancer patients.

The PatientSource recalls module enables the client to schedule future required care for patients. The functionality allows users to add reviews to the patient record and to view due and overdue reviews. The module also allows for letters to be sent for those patients who are due a recall and the system can automatically set a recall to complete, when appropriate action has taken place, for example; an appointment has been made or a test has been ordered.

Happy Friday everyone! This week some of our team travelled to Salisbury to meet John Keeling, Al Howard, Gerda Pohl, and Roshan Dahal from the The Gurkha Welfare Trust, one of our newest clients and an amazing charity who support Gurkha veterans, their widows and communities in Nepal, enabling them to live with dignity. In the remote regions of Nepal 🏔️ , retired Gurkhas were having to travel for up to three days on foot to receive any basic medical care or even to receive their monthly pensions. As you can imagine, it is a gruelling trek across the mountain regions of Nepal on foot when you are elderly and potentially unwell. The Gurkha Welfare Trust is ensuring that these journeys are less and less necessary, with Mobile Health Practitioners traveling to villages across Nepal to provide medical services, deliver pensions and prescribe medicines to elderly veterans and widows. With Nepal facing an increasing number of natural disasters due to climate change, this means that quick and efficient medical support is more important than ever. Care needs to be offered instantaneously through a connected, cloud-based platform, so that multiple sites can communicate at once. From November, PatientSource will be rolled out across all GWT sites to ensure that even the most remote regions receive the best possible care. We are thrilled to be working with the Gurkha Welfare Trust and look forward to supporting their incredible work. 👏 #EPR #PatientSource #TheGurkhaWelfareTrust #MedTech

Our risk assessments module can be tailored to individual clients and altered in line with the standardisation model provided by the client. This approach encourages the client to identify and take sensible and proportionate measures to control the risks. The assessment process itself, is very easy to use consisting mainly of ticklist/dropdown options to select from and this approach, helps clinicians decide whether they should be doing more for the patient, which in turn results in improved patient care.
